Mortgages in Poland
If you will need mortgage to buy property in Poland , you will have to remember that:

All loans may be available on case-by-case basis.

Interest only loans are not popular.

Non-status/self certification mortgages are not available.

Letting scheme mortgage was just introduced by WBK SA for 30 years period but you will need proof of other income as well to back up your rental income.

100% value of the property mortgage may be available but only for some types of the properties,

Investment warning: Under new project: from 2007 sellers of the properties will have to pay 19% of tax from the difference between price for which property was bought and sold (capital gain tax). It means that buyers will pay more for the properties because this burden will be passed on them by sellers. Some loopholes seems to be available for our clients. If you will buy until then you will have additional gain on the top of 10%-30% in most part of the country.

V. Property market in Poland is different from UK market and we as agents and our clients have to obey local laws and customs. Informations about properties especially these showing location of the properties are considered as a product and are not free like it is in UK (with few exceptions).
