Mortgages in Poland

If you will need mortgage to buy property in Poland , you will have to remember that:
  • All loans may be available on case-by-case basis.
  • Interest only loans are not popular.
  • Non-status/self certification mortgages are not available.
  • Letting scheme mortgage was just introduced by WBK SA for 30 years period but you will need proof of other income as well to back up your rental income.
  • 100% value of the property mortgage may be available but only for some types of the properties,

From May of 2009 you won't need permit to buy second house in Poland (houses, building and recreational plots, please see: Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners, so our commission will be the same like for apartment's, houses and building plot's  buyers (50% lower) . You will still need permit to buy agricultural land and forest so commission will stay the same for that type of property until 2016.

From May of 2009 we are able to secure Polish mortgage for second house buyers - so far it was very difficult.
