Palace and castle in Poland (listed and registered buildings generally) are going up on average 10-20% per year and it could be very good business to buy one because:
- there are not many of them on the market any longer
- local/ EU subsidy are available for renovations up to 50% of costs
- local/ EU subsidy are available for renovations and maintenance of listed trees
- any business located in old/historic buildings in Poland is bringing about 15% more turnover
- most of them are property tax free
but...
renovation could be difficult/costly and you have to use certified renovators for some work and type of buildings, elso there are legal restrictions as well so you need an expert to determine option to buy.
