Property in Poland - Apartments / Flats

Investment warning. If you are very long term investor, 15 or more years (from 2008),  investments in properties located in ski areas or coastal areas are not good investments, if you are our client or want to join - we will help you to transfer your investment into more secured properties.

Prices of apartments in Zakopane, Wroclaw , Warsaw and Krakow are rising lately up to 10-15% per year - average. There is a shortage of available properties in average price because investors are buying whole buildings. If you want to buy through us please let us know at least 2 weeks before when you will be ready to come to Poland so we can book our agents and prepare few offers, under your specifications, which might be available for you when you will arrive. - We have published this in the middle of the 2007.

Partly thanks to the cheap airlines : Ryanair, easyJet and SkyEurope flying to these towns, investments volume is going up.

Data from 2006 shows that prices of apartments in Wroclaw has risen up 86%, in TriCity : Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot + 75% and Warsaw and Krakow +55%. There is not enough data to say a lot about Lodz and Zakopane but it's No. 2 investments in Poland in residential market (at least in volume).

In 2007 we have seen uprising trend and now 2008 apartment’s market In Poland should start to stabilise - on average capital appreciation should bring 6-8% + few % thanks to low GBP against PLN.

Still demand will be higher than supply in few towns, especially In Zakopane and Krakow, mainly because of the planning permission problems in these towns.

If you are after ski apartments you should invest In less known ski resorts like in Sudety: Szklarska Poręba, Karpacz and upcoming Czarna Góra complex: Stronie Slaskie; In Tatra Mountains: Szczyrk, Wisła, for other best ski resorts in Poland see: What, Where, When
