There is a shortage of available properties in average price because investors are buying whole buildings. Data from 2006 shows that prices of apartments in Wroclaw has risen up 86%, in TriCity : Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot + 75% and Warsaw and Krakow +55%. There is not enough data to say a lot about Lodz and Zakopane but it's No. 2 investments in Poland in residential market (at least in volume). In 2007 we have seen uprising trend and now 2008 apartment’s market In Poland should start to stabilise - on average capital appreciation should bring 6-8% + few % thanks to low GBP against PLN. Still demand will be higher than supply in few towns, especially In Zakopane and Krakow, mainly because of the planning permission problems in these towns.
