Land in Poland is going up on average 10 - 20% per year, closer to towns and in recreational areas - more. Near major towns - very often few times value of investment and it is most often treated as a building one because it is relatively easy to obtain planning permission to build on it in 2-3 years.
Legal restrictions apply until 2016 so you need an expert to buy in Poland.
Building plots in Poland are lately on the same high price level. Near some major towns could be overpriced for the moment (some corrections). Some legal restrictions apply until May of 2009.
